If you have to work on multiple computers, you will find it difficult to copy files from one machine to another. You have to make a few configurations if you want to share them on a local network and you will not be able to transfer them fast enough. Instead of moving your files with a removable memory device or an online storage service, you can use GoodSync. It enables you to synchronize folders between computers, over any distance, without the need for a cloud service.

GoodSync comes in Free and Pro versions. You can download the software and install its components fast, without any kind of difficulties. It works on all popular Windows editions and it is available for Mac platforms as well.

Working with GoodSync involves creating backup or synchronization jobs, on separate tabs. Both job types can be prepared the same way, using the same tools. One of the program's core features is the possibility of selecting various servers or remote computers as the source or destination, which are configured on similar windows. You can specify FTP servers, Amazon, Windows Azure or Google Drive accounts and many more.

If you choose to synchronize your files between computers, you must create a GoodSync online account, which does not take long. If you install the software on other computers, you may associate those computers with your online account. As a result, GoodSync will display your available computers, along with their entire folder structures. You can select any folder, on any computer, as the source or destination. After selecting your folders, you can perform an analysis, to see any differences or similarities between your folders. You may also select different symbols, to copy individual files in one direction or another or to ignore them.

It is also possible to set the application to back up or synchronize files automatically, when you make changes to your files or folders, during the system's startup and so on. GoodSync comes with a file explorer as well, which can be launched with a separate executable. It is similar to Windows Explorer, but it can be used to browse through files and folders, on remote computers.

The software allows you to back up or synchronize your files between computers, FTP servers and more. You can associate multiple computers with an online account and browse through their files remotely. Additionally, the software can back up or synchronize files automatically.

There are no serious issues to encounter. GoodSync enables you to synchronize your files between computers or servers, without using any cloud-based services.
